On Friday, March 17, 2017 the GBSPDC will be hosting its 35th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. We are honored to be led by our 2017 Grand Marshal, Thomas McCarthy, of Bridgeport. The marchers will travel through downtown Bridgeport, beginning at Harbor Yard, continuing up Broad Street to Fairfield Avenue and return to Harbor Yard via Main Street.
Our Parade Journal will soon go into production and will be distributed on Saint Patrick’s Day during the pre and post parade celebrations at the Bridgeport Holiday Inn. Our committee would appreciate your consideration of renewing or placing your advertisement, tribute, or memorial in the Journal.
For your convenience, we have enclosed the Journal Insertion Order for you to complete and submit along with your artwork and payment. The deadline is Friday, February 10. Complete instructions and specifications are on the form.
The committee has planned an array of exciting events to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. Please join us in downtown Bridgeport on Friday, March 17, 2017.

9:15 a.m. Flag raising at City Hall
10:00 a.m. Grand Marshal’s Breakfast, Grand Ballroom, Bridgeport Holiday Inn*
12:00 p.m. Parade Kick-off with 2017 Grand Marshal, Thomas McCarthy
1:30 p.m. Post Parade Luncheon and Awards Ceremony, Grand Ballroom, Bridgeport Holiday Inn*
